Fiber rope in polypropylene
PP fiber rope is made of the material polypropylene, which is UV-resistant, has great abrasion resistance, high breaking strength, knot-proof and is highly resistant to acid and alkali. The material can flow and does not rot. PP fiber ropes are popular for both professional and general use because they are comfortable and easy to work with, both in water and at low temperatures. We sell PP rope in several makes, colors, braid and thicknesses.
- 3-stranded PP fiber ropes are strong and suitable for mooring, lashing, unloading gear, agricultural rope and general use. We sell both a standard blue, Primaflex in beige and Navyflex in brown, which has even greater wear resistance than ordinary 3-stranded fiber ropes. Navyflex is used for moorings, lashings, unloading gear, lifeline and containment rope.
- Cross-braided PP rope from Primaflex, which can be used as a logline, for play equipment, sea sports, as well as for tarpaulins and riding equipment.
Nylon fiber rope
Nylon fiber rope is a very strong, comfortable and easy-to-handle rope that also works at low temperatures. Nylon does not absorb water, does not rot, is UV resistant and resistant to most chemicals, but can be attacked by strong acids. A 3-stranded nylon rope has a very high breaking strength and elasticity and is particularly suitable for towing line, mooring, anchor rope and lifeline. We also sell nylon line - a thinner, cross-braided version - suitable for lighter purposes such as curtains, flag lines and tow lines.
Dyneema
Dyneema is the world's strongest fiber and therefore - the strongest rope in the category. Dyneema is a 12-stranded construction made from HMPE fiber (highly modified polyethylene fiber). We sell DYNICE rope developed by the Icelandic company Hampidjan, which has a round and smooth surface. The rope is impregnated with Durapur for extra durability.
Hemp fiber rope
Hemp rope is made from the natural product hemp, which is durable, soft and flexible. Hemp has the disadvantage that it absorbs moisture - therefore it is recommended to tar the rope and thereby increase its resistance if you use it in connection with water. Hemp does not tolerate chemicals. 4-ply hemp rope and cross-braided hemp rope are mainly used for ship use, climbing rope and the like.
Manila fiber rope
3-ply manila rope has a high wear resistance and is flexible. Manila is made from plant fibers from Manila hemp. The rope is resistant to salt water, but absorbs moisture and can be degraded by wind and weather, which is why you should check your manila ropes regularly. Manila rope is used in shipping, fishing and lifting gear.
Paper fiber rope
Paper rope is very environmentally friendly and is mainly used in the furniture industry for chair seats. The 3-fold paper rope is durable and resistant, but is not used for lifting or mooring.
