Are your traditional steel wire or polyester round slings falling short? Then HMPE slings are often the answer. These slings are made from the world's strongest fibres, such as Dyneema®, and combine extreme breaking strength with incredibly low weight.

What are HMPE Slings?
HMPE stands for High Modulus Polyethylene – a type of synthetic fibre that is up to 15 times stronger than steel on a weight-to-weight basis. The fibres, often known under the brand name Dyneema®, have unique properties that make them ideal for lifting. Our HMPE slings consist of a core of these strong fibres, often protected by a durable sheath that ensures a long service life.

Advantages of HMPE Slings
Extremely low weight: An HMPE sling weighs only a fraction of a steel wire rope with the same capacity, making handling and rigging faster and more ergonomic for your employees.
Superior strength: Lift heavier loads with narrower and lighter slings.
Minimal elongation: With almost no stretch (approx. 0.5% at WLL), you get full control and precision during the lift, which can be a crucially important feature.
Increased safety: The low weight reduces the risk of accidents at work. In the event of a break, the energy is minimal compared to steel.
Extreme durability: HMPE is resistant to wear, chemicals, UV radiation and moisture. It does not rust or rot and floats on water.
Cost-effective: Although the purchase price is often higher, faster handling and longer service life often result in lower total costs.
Ideal for a wide range of industries
HMPE slings are often used here:
Offshore / Wind Energy
Lifting heavy components such as nacelles and tower sections.
Construction / Civil Engineering
Precise installation of concrete elements and steel structures.
Industry / Manufacturing
Handling heavy machine parts and coils where the surface must not be damaged.
Transportation / Logistics:
Safe and efficient loading and unloading of heavy goods.
