Wirelock by invented by English John Dodd. The product combines his passion for chemistry and interest in the British mining industry. The invention originates from a search in the mines for a product that would eliminate the dangers of working with melted metals - the result was WIRELOCK, which has been used since 1963. WIRELOCK is still manufactured in Great Britain. The product meets the requirements of ISO17558 and DNV-OS-E304 and has type approval from ABS, DNV and Lloyds. WIRELOCK is primarily used within five industrial sectors: bridges, construction, offshore, mining and general engineering.
