BlokAlert is a sound and light warning system developed by Crosby BlokCam. When BlokAlert is attached to the crane's hook block, the device emits a specially developed light and sound that can be clearly heard and seen by people around the crane's hook block and load.

Why BlokAlert?
Traditionally, the horn is often located near the cab of the crane. Therefore, it is most often located far from the load and the hook block and therefore does not effectively warn the people about the position of the hook block or the load. The same can be said for air horns or whistles when used by riggers. In both scenarios, the people's attention is diverted to where the sound is coming from, as opposed to the danger.
The solution is therefore to mount a warning system such as BlokAlert on the hook block. When the system is activated, attention is drawn to the danger, not away from it.

How does BlokAlert work?
In the cab: The transmitter is activated with the remote control or by a foot switch in the cab. When activated, the signal is sent to the receiver on the crane's hook block.
On the hook block: When receiving the signal from either the foot switch in the cabin or the supplied remote controls, the receiver is activated and warns people with both light and sound.
BlokAlert is suitable for all crane types.

BA-R1 RECEIVER
Together with the LED light, the BlokAlert receiver is capable of giving up to 528 different audible alerts. This audiovisual warning system combines great functionality, performance and design making it a must for all lifting jobs.

BA-T2 TRANSMITTER
Using a foot switch, the BlokAlert-BA-T2 transmitter provides the crane operator with hands-free operation of the BlokAlert system.

The foot switch provides hands-free operation of the BlokAlert transmitter. At the same time, it is both quick and easy to install.
