Pallet racks are used for storing goods, e.g. on pallets. In Denmark, pallet racks must undergo a general inspection at least every 12 months, unless the supplier prescribes otherwise.
The inspection must be carried out by the supplier or another expert - this can, for example, a service company with corresponding expert knowledge of pallet racking. A general inspection must also be carried out before commissioning after each reassembly or re-installation. If the pallet rack is hit and there is thus damage to posts or brackets, an inspection must be carried out. Which pallet racks do we inspect?
Our inspection procedure is universal and therefore covers all makes. At the same time, they are 100% transparent as you can see exactly which steps we go through on each individual pallet rack, as our service technicians simply and efficiently create separate certificates for all pallet racks via our EasyCert system.
Documentation when inspecting pallet racks
The inspection must be able to be documented at any time and must be in writing in the form of a certificate or inspection report. Errors as well as deficiencies and subsequent repairs must appear in the written documentation. The documentation must always be presentable. As a further measure, information on completed inspections can be added to pallet racks - this is good information for the user but not a legal requirement.
Our labeling is unique and all pallet racks are marked with our unique tag. It is printed directly from our service system EasyCert and contains the date of the last inspection, the date of the next inspection, our unique ID and, if you wish, can also contain your unique ID number or whatever you want. The label also contains a QR code that easily gives our fitter and you easy access to all the history of the ladder in question.
