Our history from 1969 to today.

Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S has existed since 1969, when it was founded by Villy Bøllingtoft.

After many years as part of the Randers Reb Group, the company is now back in the hands of the Bøllingtoft family, as Jackie Bøllingtoft (son of Villy Bøllingtoft) bought the company back and is thus the current owner of Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S together with CEO, Carsten Møller Sørensen, CSO, Joachim Riisager and chairman of the board Carl Erik Skovgaard. Jackie Bøllingtoft took over the company on 21 September 2004, and Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S has since undergone significant development. We today have over 100 employees.

Aerial photo from 1969 of Brændekildevej 37, 5250 Odense SV. Before Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S took over the address, the place functioned as a mushroom farm. But the history of the place goes back further, as the farmhouse is over 300 years old.

Villy Bøllingtoft, sells Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S to the Randers Reb group in 1990.
1999 test af hydraulisk nacellelofteag

1999

Test lift of one of the first hydraulic nacelle lifting tools in 1999. Since then, Fyns Kran Udstyr has delivered close to 100 hydraulic nacelle lifting tools in various designs.

The branch in Randers closes . All machines are moved to Odense in the newly built rigging workshop and most of the staff are moved to the branch in Aalborg.

2014

Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S establish a small workshop with an office at Lindøværftet, with the aim of servicing the local customers on the yard's premises. The activities at Lindø will be shut down again at the beginning of 2016, as FKU wants to concentrate all its offshore activities at the Esbjerg branch.

2016

Fyns Kran Udstyr digitizes the service department via the MicroBizz system. The system must ensure consistency in the way service is provided and ensure that the customer's inspection documentation is always available online. The EasyCert database is born and ensure that FKU's competitiveness is at the top.

2018

Fyns Kran Udstyr will launch a brand new online platform at fyns-kran.dk at the end of 2018. With a personal login, customers have the opportunity to shop 10,000 products online at customer-specific prices.

Fyns Kran Udstyr implements Business Intelligence, colloquially called BI, which must create a greater overview of data from different systems and thus help to create more data structure and process reports from systems.
