The robot company, ROEQ, designs and produces top modules for self-driving robots, so that companies all over the world can automate their internal logistics. At present, their solutions are sold in over 40 countries, and the journey is far from over yet.
Hear Benni S. Lund talk about their vacuum lifting solution and about the collaboration with Fyns Kran Udstyr:

Growth brought challenges
The robotics equipment manufacturer has experienced significant growth over the past few years, and this created positive challenges for the flexibility in production. Their need to achieve a better production flow changed in line with the order intake, and suddenly the need arose for a solution that could move both light and heavy items.
"We went from producing one product a day to producing many more, and the products became both larger and heavier. We had many considerations about the solution, whether it should be a crane or a vacuum lifting device, and which supplier we needed. That's why many suppliers stopped by," says owner and co-founder, Benni S. Lund

A reassuring showroom made the difference
Among the many considerations, there was still one that stood out. The local sales consultant invited Benni and his team to stop by the showroom at Fyns Kran Udstyr to test a vacuum lifting solution. They showed up prepared and had brought different products to be tested.
"The decisive thing for us was the demonstration at Fyns Kran Udstyr. Before we invested, we were able to test everything, and that was very reassuring. First of all, we needed a flexible solution, but also a solution that was dynamic, as we have many products and new ones are added all the time, and so we needed something that could scale with our company".

Which solution did ROEQ end up with?
After the visit to Fyns Kran Udstyr, ROEQ found the functionality and efficiency of the vacuum lifter Jumbo Ergo to be the answer to all their wishes. It can both lift very light objects, but still has a lifting capacity of 85 kg. Therefore, ROEQ was able to move cardboard boxes and their heavier steel elements with one and the same solution.

Safety and technical guidance were a priority
ROEQ only chooses partners who have a focus on safety and who follow all legislation in the area, and Fyns Kran Udstyr naturally lives up to this.
"When we choose business partners, they must be professional and good at what they do, and safety is of course the most important aspect. After that comes the technical guidance, which from Fyns Kran Udstyr's side has also been really good," concludes Benni S. Lund.
